The center operated as an entity on promoting and commercializing the results of it's research, and presenting exhibits on contemporary art. It also housed many companies along it's history and several different working teams. Among these were matatena, a contemporary art web site (www.matatena.com), a kids web page (la canica), AC-3 (industrial design firm), Dot Site (graphic design firm) and Botone (clothing stores operator). Many other projects were born and developed in this space.

We see on the left some pictures of the straw bale construction. The design featured the tallest straw bale load-bearing wall constructed to that date - more than 6 meters in height, and many curved walls that were very innovative for that construction technique.
