Plywood tree

A tree is never just a tree. In our case, a Pirwi (Schinus molle) is a source of inspiration. This species is not "useful" in a way you would normally expect. The wood is not good for burning or furniture making, and the fruit is not edible. It however has a lot of other uses, such as erosion prevention, dye making or soil nutirent fixation. This is a good example, that in order to solve our ecological crisis we need to think differently about our relationship with the planet.
