DRIP
Table

The Drip table is made using small pieces of FSC certified young teak. During the early years, young plantations produce a great deal of thinning wood. This young wood, from Proteak’s sustainably managed plantations, has a special color, hardness and dampness and is only obtained in small, commercially unviable forms.

The table not only reveals the building method though legs built from strips of different lengths but also places a special value on the wood and metaphorically, on the creation of new sustainably managed forests through the combination of small pieces that result in stable, robust surfaces.
