SPONGE What about a big sponge that sucked your magazines as intensely as you do? This magazine rack can be also used as an ottoman or a small stool. Being extremely flexible, it protects the magazines while accepting a lot of pressure. The surface treatments is different on the inside to protect the magazines from the heavy texture. The slots accept books and magazines of varied widths and sizes. The Sponge has received much squeezing and attention. It has been exhibited at the ICFF (New York, 2003), at the BROOKLYN DESIGNS show in DUMBO (New York, 2003) and published in many, many places. Year: 2002
