CHOPPING BOARDS This line of chopping boards is made using young teak from Proteak’s FSC certified plantations in Mexico City. The tables feature a recession that allows the user to lift the board from the table easily when it has heavy or hot objects on it, and also to lay food against it when used with the recession facing up. The boards use young teak, which comes from the early years of a plantation, glued together to form a really beautiful plank. The shapes of the recession, as well as the rectangular footprint, emphasize the grain and colour variations of the wood. Year: 2008
