FLEX The flex stool flexes thin stripes of plywood to give them rigidity, in order to make a seat out of seemingly weak elements. The stool is made entirely out of 16mm birch plywood, which is routered to a thinner stock in some areas. The resulting piece is both comfortable and lightweight. The stool was exhibited at the opening of Pin, a furniture store in Mexico City where 14 stools from different designers were on show. Manufactured by Pirwi. Year: 2007
